9 am - 3 pm. The Ohio Plein Air Society OPAS will conduct an outdoor Paintout in and around the city of Athens on Saturday, April 10th at the Dairy Barn Cultural Arts Center. The Paintout gives OPAS members and non-members the opportunity to paint the beautiful landscapes and cherry tree blossoms along the Hocking river in Athens. This Paintout will be hosted by Mr. Jeffrey Risner, President of the OPAS. The painters will leave from the Dairy Barn after 9 am and paint until 3 pm, when they will return to the Dairy Barn's second floor studio for display and comments. Paintings may be purchased from the individual artists. There is no entry fee. As part of OPAS public and educational outreach program the public is invited to attend, to watch and participate in this outdoor painting adventure and experience the thrill first hand.
